Theodore Maynard

Theodore Maynard (1890–1956) was an eminent English-born biographer, historian, and literary critic who wrote over twenty books on Catholic history and countless articles. He was a convert to Catholicism, strongly influenced by G. K. Chesterton's book Orthodoxy.
