Product Overview

A powerful feature film on Blessed Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, the Primate of Poland, who, after three years of imprisonment by the Communist regime, was restored as the head of the Church in Poland.

The film reveals many unknown threads from his heroic life on the canvas of important historical events for Poland and the world. His unwavering faith and great courage kept the Polish Church strong through brutal persecution by the atheist regime, and helped prepare the way for the election to the papacy of his fellow Polish Cardinal, Karol Wojtyla.

    Good for people with binoculars

The story was good but had to move chair to 5 feet from TV because subtitles were so small and fast moving it was difficult to read. Got through it but the small print in the subtitles was a problem. Bring your binoculars and keep remote close.

Beautiful photography and well done however all audio in Polish with subtitles. Subtitles flash on and off the screen so fast you do not have time to read everything. My husband cannot see and I have to read everything to him. Makes it very difficult for viewing.
