The moving story of the heroic Ulma family in Poland who gave their lives to save Jews, and were all Beatified in 2023. The director sought to discover who the Ulmas were and why Joseph and Victoria Ulma took such a great risk. The film shows the clash of two worlds - Nazi Germany and a Polish Catholic family.

This documentary was 20 years in the making, and when filming began, few people even in Poland knew of the great sacrifice of the Ulma family. By uncovering new details and getting testimonies from witnesses with memories of the Ulma family, this film reveals the motivations of both the heroic protagonists of this story and those responsible for such horrific crimes.  Polish with English subtitles, and English language dubbed.
