For her Beatification, St. John Paul II described Blessed Petra of St. Joseph as the "Josephine Apostle of the 19th century" and "a woman with a heart of fire", is told in this beautiful movie on the Spanish saint who dedicated her life to the abandoned elderly and orphan children.

She founded the Congregation of Mothers of the Helpless, and had a profound devotion to

St. Joseph, including having Church approved private apparitions of him. She built the first Sanctuary dedicated to him in Spain, the very beautiful Royal Sanctuary of St. Joseph of the Mountain, visited by countless pilgrims annually.
